As chiropractors, we like to be as healthy as possible. And we hope to help our clients be as healthy as possible to. 
​So we have put together a list of the best healthy places in Ballarat. We even interviewed some of the amazing business owners around town, so make sure you click on the links and watch our facebook live videos.
To Eat
  • Namaste Nourishment
    54 Victoria street, Ballarat
    Vegan and vegetarian plant based food. Well priced smoothies and raw cakes in a fun bright atmosphere. 
  • The Healthy Hub Wellness Centre
    100 Bridge Mall, Ballarat
    Paleo, vegan, vegetarian, these guys have a great selection of ready made grab and go foods. 
  • Ballarat Whole Foods Cafe
    413 Sturt Street, Ballarat
    Totally gluten free so a great option for coeliacs. Pick up some gluten free bread, kraut and ready made bone broth and meals while you're there.
  • Grill'd
    37 Sturt St, Ballarat
    Ballarat has one of these quintessentially Victorian outposts. With low carb buns and ethically raised meat, this one is great to take the kids to.
  • Zambrero
    22 Armstrong Street North, Ballarat
    We've got one of these too! Lots of gluten free, vegan and vegetarian options, they even have vegan cheese! And their meat is ethically and sustainable sourced. Plus each meal you buy feeds someone in the developing world.  Fast and well priced, also a good one for the kids.

  • We Bar None
    Get Ellen's healthy wholefood bars all over the palace, including Go Vita and our very own clinic! Watch Ellen and Dr Leandra chat about how awesome these bars are. 
  • Simply Almond
    Made right here in Ballarat, this "milk" is just almonds and water. You can get it at many cafes like The Local and Webster's (Where you can also buy a litre to take home and grab their greens bowl too). 
  • Food Garden

    Ballarat doesn't have the best selection of organic fruit and veg to buy at the shops, but these guys deliver straight to your door! They have fruit and veg from all over the country as well as all over Victoria. We particularly love that you can order a 100mile box that has only produce grown within 100 miles of Castlemaine.

    Health food store with practically everything. Become a member and get 10% off every second Tuesday and Third Saturday of the month
  • Ballarat Whole Foods Collective
    Brown Hill Reserve, Brown Hill
    Support local produce and reduce waste by becoming a member of the Whole Foods Collective. Watch Dr Bridget's tour of the place.
  • IGA's
    Huge range of gluten free foods, Salt Kitchen pork products (made with free range local pork and minimal preservatives) and proper basilco and La Madra Sourdough. They also stock low tox cleaning products and lots of organic versions of your usual foods like jams. 
  • The Foundry

    An excellent selection of beautiful old school products wrapped in paper (less plastic waste). Think reusable shopping bags, copper dish cloths and bees wax wraps.

  • Elements Mind Body Studio

    Elements, have mind body classes to help people improve flexibility, to reduce stress and to find some inner peace. 
    You will find personal training, healing (reiki and crystal light bed healings) and lots of classes!

    A beautiful little fragrance boutique that stocks Aesop products and have lots of natural (read: non hormone disrupting) perfumes. They also hold perfume masterclasses too. 
  • Lotus Oils

    If you're into making your own beauty products, then this is the place to go. Great range of plain oils and lotions as well as rollers and bottles and jars (oh my!).
  • Phoenix Alternative

    Ballarat
    If you're after fair trade and unique things you can't get in mainstream stores, then this place is for you. They also stock no fragrance and low tox cleaning solutions.
